Business English Academy

I started the Business English Academy to teach English to business people mostly located in South Africa that had trouble with their English.

I started bringing in clientele from Huawei, Durban Office. I then expanded somewhat nationally before I left to teach in South Korea. The demand for English business education is exponential. The predicted growth of English Language teaching to be around $129.3 billion by the year 2030 reflecting a 7.5% compound annual growth rate.

To put this business together I needed to compete with big tutor companies with huge budgets for their course work and branding. I created my logo of an interlocking B and E to create a polished, academic yet modern logo. I then focused on visual identity which followed through in branded slides for my classes. I needed to create content that could be put on email blasts and linked in messages. Infographics I believe was a very helpful addition to bringing in clientele as it has an ability to display complex information at a glance for busy corporate workers. A website that they could then be subsequently directed and an easily booked course was at their fingertips.
